PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION FOR OSTEOPATHS
Supporting fellow therapists—from newly qualified graduates to experienced practitioners—is something I care deeply about. I believe that when we support the helper, we can ultimately help more people.
Supervision offers a confidential, reflective space to explore all aspects of your professional life. It is designed to support you as a therapist and, in turn, enhance the care you provide to your clients. Rather than judgement or scrutiny, supervision is about “super-vision”—creating the opportunity to step back and view your experiences with curiosity and compassion. This process helps deepen self-awareness and strengthen your communication and relational skills.
The supervisory relationship is a supportive and collaborative one. It can help you grow and sustain a thriving practice, while also offering guidance when challenges arise. My aim is to support you in building a career that feels both rewarding and sustainable.
My approach integrates compassionate enquiry, psychology, group dynamics, and communication skills. I draw on the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision alongside over 19 years of experience in osteopathic clinical practice, teaching, and personal tutoring. I have a particular interest in working with the physical effects of stress and trauma, and I am well placed to support you in navigating complex cases—while also helping you care for your own wellbeing as a practitioner.
Supervision sessions also contribute towards your CPD, often covering areas such as:
Communication and patient partnership
Knowledge, skills and performance Safety and quality in practice
Professionalism
While many of my clients are osteopaths, I also work with a wide range of therapists in healthcare settings, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, manual therapists, and those working in psycho-spiritual practices.
